- 120 g tahini
- 2 lemons juiced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp warm water adjust for desired consistency
- 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- ½ tsp salt adjust to taste
- ¼ tsp cumin ground
- black pepper to taste
In a medium bowl, combine the tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and ground cumin if using.
Gradually add warm water, whisking continuously until the sauce reaches a smooth, pourable consistency.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt or lemon juice as needed.
Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl and refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
