Truffle Parmesan Fries
Ingredients
- 800 g fries crispy & home made
- 15 ml vegetable oil for baking, if using oven method
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
To finish
- 2 tsp truffle oil adjust to taste
- 40 g Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped
- ½ tsp garlic powder optional, for extra depth
Instructions
- Cook the Fries. Preheat your oven to 220°C (fan 200°C) or cook the fries in an air fryer. Toss with vegetable oil, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Add the Truffle Magic. While the fries are still hot, drizzle over the truffle oil and toss gently to coat evenly. Be cautious with quantity—a little truffle oil goes a long way.
- Finish with Parmesan and Herbs. Sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. Add a pinch of garlic powder if desired, for an added layer of umami.
- Serve Immediately. Serve hot, either on their own or alongside steak, grilled chicken, or even a glass of bubbly. These fries are an easy way to elevate your meal with very little effort.
